MagicCraft is an exciting multiplayer PvP MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Action) blockchain game on Binance Smart Chain. Players are able to take part in fast moving single or multiplayer battles, and earn the in-game $MCRT cryptocurrency. Free to play and play to earn options are available.

About the Project

We performed full-cycle character customization for MagicCraft including 2D concepts and 3D modeling. Besides, we’ve got the task to put together the game’s teaser trailer from scratch for MagicCraft. The peculiarity of this project was the limited period of time we had at our disposal.

Outcomes

The game is available in beta-version, and continues to add new features, such as Web3 Lobby System launched in March 2023.

Project

Our passionate and experienced team has been proudly working hand in hand with WildWorks to design highly interactive content for Animal Jam. Cuddly creatures, captivating animations, one-of-a-kind cosmetics, and stunning environments are just a few of the seemingly infinite possibilities we were working on. Our goal was to ensure an unforgettable experience for players diving into Animal Jam’s virtual world where exploration is encouraged and offbeat fun is plenty.

Outcomes

Players now have a chance to make their virtual homes even more inviting! With the added animals, they can choose from different furniture you outfit their dens with. Making those important interior design decisions to fit each unique style and creating that perfect home isn’t all they can do. All of that extra pet company also brings with it some brand new ways to customize even further. Players now have options for buying fresh clothing and decor items that’ll truly make their practice house a private haven.

About the Game

KID A MNESIA is not your typical art exhibition. It’s a feverish dreamscape, an ethereal space built from the art, creatures, words, and recordings of Radiohead’s Kid A and Amnesiac albums, which were released over 20 years ago.

The artwork and writing of Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke, which accompanied the music of Radiohead’s Kid A and Amnesiac, have been brought back to life in a hidden building deep in the forest. The exhibit stretches the very definition of what an exhibition can be.

Project

We collaborated with [namethemachine] x Arbitrarily Good Productions on this project to design environment for this project. We created levels, 3D props, lightning and optimization paths. 

Outcomes

The critically acclaimed album “Kid A Mnesia” from Metacritic has achieved universal acclaim with an exceptional score of 97 out of 100.  It received positive reviews in the Verge, NME, and other recognized media.

The New Yorker included KID A MNESIA: Exhibition to its list of the best video games of 2021.

Grounded is a survival video game created by Obsidian Entertainment and distributed by Xbox Game Studios. It was initially delivered for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on July 30th, 2020 as an early access title, before getting a full release on September 27th, 2022.

Project

Obsidian Entertainment contacted Devoted Studios to develop a collection of game assets for the Grounded project.

Outcomes

Grounded has been critically acclaimed, with a “generally favorable” rating on Metacritic. It was nominated for Innovation in Accessibility at The Game Awards 2020 and won the Xbox Game of the Year award at the Golden Joystick Awards. The game has received praise for its exploration and world-building elements, providing an immersive experience.

About the Game

Halo: The Master Chief Collection offers players their own exciting journey through six games – Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Campaign, and Halo 4. It is a military science fiction media franchise, primarily taking place in the 26th century, the franchise centers on conflicts between humanity and a variety of alien species.

Project

We collaborated with 343 Industries and Horia Dociu as an Art Director to create five brand new armor sets for the Halo 2: Anniversary (Halo: MCC). Halo 2: Anniversary is a remastered version of Halo 2 and features extra content, high-definition resolution, and remastered audio and graphics. It was released on November 11, 2014, as part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox one.

Outcomes

The armor sets we have successfully concepted and developed together have appeared in the game update released in August 2022.
